About The Session:

According to the Kirwin Institute, our implicit biases are the attitudes, stereotypes that affect our understanding, actions, and decisions in an unconscious manner. While its important to examine our implicit biases, we have to move the conversation beyond implicit biases in order to achieve racial equity and build a socially just future.

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will:

1. Define implicit bias and microagressions

2. Examine root causes of racial injustices

3. Discuss why racial healing is central to racial equity work.
